I grabbed a copy of this book over the weekend and gave it a quick read. Basically the idea is that it gives you substitutions that you can make at fast food restaurants to reduce your calorie intake. So, for example, instead of a 1000 calorie meal, you substitute a 500 calorie meal available at that same restaurant.
As useful as these food substitutions may be, however, I found this book to be incredibly effective as an appetite suppressant. It has got some nauseating pictures. Absolutely nauseating. If you go through the pictures of the worst foods, pictures that are glistening with grease and processed "meat" product, you will lose your appetite, and you will lose it fast. If you love fast food, or are thinking about getting some, grab this book off the shelf and have a look at some pictures and the corresponding calorie counts. You will lose your appetite, and you will lose weight.
